6 years of Maya

I always think of things I'd like to write about and never have the time. Well, at the second I have the time... Cooper is still asleep and I just got Maya off on the bus. So life with 3 kids can be a little crazy, but it just "is". That's all I know now. I often think, what if I never got pregnant, look at all the time I would have to do random stuff. Clean... sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I am okay with that fact, other times I go crazy in the head. Most of the time it just depends on my work schedule. I've been kicked in the ass lately with call-ins and bad weekends. A few times I've had to make it through a day with 3 hours of sleep, and that is far from Cooper's fault. He is a good little sleeper. He's about 50/50 on sleeping through the night. He'll wake up now and then for one feeding, but I don't have a problem doing that. Especially when I work the night before... I am so eager to see and hold him again. It's funny how baby #3 seems so special. Not that my other kids weren't, cuz they are all the best things in my world, but the #3 experience has been the best.
Cooper had his 4 month check-up last tuesday. He was 12lb 15oz and 24.75 inches long. He's growing on his curve and appears absolutely perfect. He started cereal last week and is doing a pretty good job. I can't wait to start the jars. Could it be I might have a baby who eats? It would take Brennan 3 days to finish one jar, but then he had reflux that was never treated and associated all food with throwing up. Brennan is eatting a lot better. If you ask him what he wants to eat nowadays, it's a corndog, pancakes or meat and green beans. He's still got a sweet tooth, but he's not that horrible eater he once was. Maya on the otherhand is a very good eater. She loves veggies and will not drink soda. For her bday yesterday she wanted a pumpkin pie, because she's not a fan of cake.
So yes, Maya turned 6 yesterday. It's hard to believe the numbers are getting bigger and bigger. For her bday I took her and a friend to go get pedicures and their nails painted. Her friend then spent the night. Surprisingly everyone slept through the night, however bright eyes at 6:15am. Maya is doing very well at school. Report cards come out soon, so we'll see if there is anything we need to worry about. I am doing the Halloween party for her class, so I am looking forward to seeing how she treats her friends. She's a pretty independent girl, so sometimes I see her not being the nicest to others. Hopefully it's just the age.
This weekend Adam and I have some fun events... halloween parties and we are going to see my boyfriend Chris Daughtry in concert. I'm gonna give him another chance! Actually, I was just excited something half decent came to Peoria.
There's a H1N1 vaccine clinic this week. I still don't know what I want to do with that. One day it's yes, I'm gonna do it.... the next day it's like okay, nope we're not going to do it. Cooper is definately not getting the dose. I think I'd be okay not getting the shots, but we're flying to California in December and those planes seem to harbor all those viruses. I honestly wish we could drive. Hopefully all will be okay.
Time to play with Mr. Cooper and Brennan! Pictures to come at next attempt.

A couple weeks ago we went to Iowa for my cousin's wedding. The kids had fun dressing up and hitting the dance floor.

Tanner's Apple Orchard

Last weekend we went to Tanner's Orchard. It was a beautiful day! The kids had a lot of fun. Brennan finally fed the goats and rode a horse. The kids had fun picking apples. I think we ate as many in the field as we brought home. My parents met us out there, which was very nice to have the extra eyes and arms. Cooper loves to be outside. He's getting so big. I'm starting to transistion him into his 3-6 month clothes. I'm not sure what he's weighing these days, but he is growing and becoming more aware of things. He likes to sit in his exersaucer for short periods. I'm looking forward to starting him on cereal next month.

15 Year Class Reunion

I helped plan our 15 year high school reunion that happened this last saturday. It actually turned out pretty good. Great group of people. The kids spent the night at my parents. Cooper had his first sleepover and go figure he slept from 8pm to 630am. Let's hope I get that lucky here. I'm looking forward to October. September is so darn busy. I think I got less than 11 hours of sleep this weekend. Ugh!~
