Guess the Date

So my cousin did this on her blog, so I thought I'd finally add it on to see if anybody has any guesses for me. So click on the side and put in some numbers to see if you come close to the birth.
Here's some helpful info:

Maya was born 2 days after her due date after I had the dr. rupture my membranes at my 40 week appt. She weighed 6lbs10oz
Brennan was born 1 day after his due date after I had the dr. rupture my membranes at my 40 week appt. He weighed 7lbs
This baby's due date is June 18th. Sonograms have gone between June 15th and June 18th as the DOB. I don't remember the length of either two kids.

Nobody wish me a 10 pounder!

Weekend Getaway

This past weekend we headed to a college friend of mines wedding up in Chicago. We had a really nice time (some of us better than others... those who could drink). It was also nice to get together with my college roommate and 2 other friends who are preggo too. I officially hit my 3rd trimester tomorrow. All seems to be going well. I'm getting really excited as I am starting to get some baby stuff together. It shouldn't be long and I'll be fighting for items at garage sales.
The kids are doing good. We got bombbarded with bday partys! A total of 5 kids party in 9 days and 1 adult bday. Today we are headed to Bloomington for a friend of mine's son's bday. Actually the kids are friends too, but it is always nice to visit this family on any occasion. I'm hoping to hit Old Navy since they have a maternity section and I have a gift card for the store. Although I've only added 14 pounds, there is a definate need for some better clothes to cover me up with. Especially since the weather is getting warmer and I want to wear less!
Hard to believe there is only 2 more months of school left.

Some Picture Documentation

Finally got these pictures downloaded that have been sitting on here sometime since late January. I'm sure the camera will see more action in a couple months when we have a new little being to gush about.
Haven't been up to too much. February flew by so fast, it's hard to know it actually happened. Like I said, Grandma and Grandpa came for Valentine's Day. Most pictures seem to be from the St. Louis Science Center visit. The kids really enjoyed it. They are really getting sick of being cooped up in the house. Can't really blame them. Fortunately, we've had a few great days weatherwise. It shouldn't be long now and I think winter will be in the past.
We hung out with some neighbors Saturday night. Eveybody is optimistic, but it's sad when every single person does not feel safe with their jobs. I have seen quite a few houses come on the market in our neighborhood lately. It's typical in spring, but I wonder if it has anything to do with this economy as well? Daylight savings time kicked me in the butt, as I was scheduled for my 24 hour sunday. Waking up an hour early is not very fun. I was amazed when I awoke this morning and the clock said 8:45. My last call out last night was around midnight, so I was had a pretty decent rest.
My ultrasound last week went okay. The cyst is smaller and everything seems to be in tact. The little guy was playing with his toes and was weighing in at 1lb 12oz. He is definatley getting bigger as his kicks are all over the place. Our friends had their 9 month olds out the other night and nothing is cuter than seeing Adam sitting around playing with these kiddos. I think he is pretty excited about having a little one around, since he missed a bunch of Brennan at that stage.
I had Adam take a belly shot yesterday. I'm 25.5 weeks now. It won't be long!

Return of the Cyst

Return of the Cyst, doesn't that sound like a good movie? All humor aside, I believe a cyst has made it's way back into this pregnancy. Sunday night I went to bed and suddenly my right side was throbbing. I hobbled downstairs to lay on the couch and try and get comfortable, but it didn't subside. Thank goodness I think I knew what it was, so I wasn't as worried as I was in January. At some point during the night I went back to lay in my bed with 3 pillows and my wedge. I woke up feeling a lot better. I'm going to the dr. on thursday for another sono to check out what's going on. I feel fine now again, but I can find the exact spot and push on it and it's very tender. Mr. baby is still kicking away, so hopefully this isn't putting any stress on him.
FYI, my sister has started organizing the baby shower and you may see an invitation in a couple weeks. She has reserved the date April 25th at noon at Avanti's in East Peoria. I don't expect everybody to make it, but I will be so excited to show off my plumpness to those that can come.
I'll update you with what goes down on thursday!

The latest and greatest

I do have pictures on the camera, but I can't find the cord to connect them to the computer at the moment. So what's been going on? Well, Grandma and Grandpa flew in from LA over valentines weekend. We had a great visit. Grandma and I got to do some baby shopping. I'm not sure, but I just don't remember getting ready for Maya or Brennan like I am now. I look at baby clothes and I get so excited and you can't beat the clearance winter gear. This by far is the most enjoyable pregancy. Maya is always asking me how "the bud" is doing and always kissing my stomach. Brennan looks at his toys and says that he wants to give them to the baby. Sometimes I think, oh gosh, back to the diapers, feedings, carseats, 3 in a grocery store....etc, but really we are All excited for the addition and the fun it's gonna bring. My body is doing pretty good so far with this pregnancy. He's a kicker, but gentle this far. Winter has been great covering up this pregnancy. I've barely needed any maternity wear so far. I have one pair of prego jeans which come in handy for those easy access sudden bathroom moments, but I have 2 normal pairs of jeans that button so low that they seem to still work. I will be 24 weeks on thursday. How time is flying, when you start thinking 2 week appointments are around the corner.
Oh yeah, back to grandma and grandpa. We travelled down to St. Louis and went to the science center one day. It was fun to get out of the Ptown area and the kids really enjoyed themselves. They had "Sue" the T-Rex from the field museum displayed. This was the kids first look at a dino. It was pretty cool. Hopefully we'll get some pictures soon.
This weekend Maya and I are heading to Iowa for my cousin's baby shower. I'm excited to see all the new things that are out there. Speaking of, beware of a baby shower in the making. My mom and sister are throwing me one since they've never had a chance to do that for me before. Frankly, I've never gotten to go to a store and scan items before either, so that is exciting for me. There's so much out there that wasn't there 5 years ago. It's crazy. I've already received a Bumbo! Yeah. I really think those things are so neat and babies look so cute. Anybody know of any other must haves? Does anyone know of anyone who wants to get rid of a white changing table?
On the workfront, Adam's company took another fall last week losing some more business. I actually didn't think he would make it through after that, but thankfully he did with a paycut. A job with a paycut still equals a paycheck in my book, so hopefully we can continue to get through these depressed times. I know we aren't the only ones in the position. I try not to worry, but sometimes my emotions about everything in general get the best of me. I on the other hand have been working my ass off. I have never felt part-time at the hospital and am having a really hard time balancing everything. Besides wednesday nights, I don't think I watch any TV even. A mom is a hard job, a working mom is even harder. But, I absolutely love my job. I love the patients I meet and actually give me self-gratification. My kids do too, but it's different in the health field. I don't know.
So as Lent begins tomorrow, I will try my best to keep this site up a bit more. I have told myself that there will be no facebook (except sundays). I waste so much time on that site whether it's playing games or just keeping up with others. I think my kids would rather I sat down and played a game with them.
Alright, all rambling must come to an end.
